Designer wingtips can get rather expensive even when they’re sneakers. Luckily Jeffrey Campbell has a reasonably priced sneaker for the wing tip fan.
The Piano-Man brogue is your standard perforated wing tip in washed black uppers. They sit on top of a black rubber sole and offer no contrast in the waxed laces. This is as stable as a sneaker can get. Our only problem is the large round-toe – it makes the birds eye silhouette resemble a light bulb.
If the designers slightly tightened the sneaker up around the vamp, this would not be an issue. This might prevent some shoe-snobs from purchasing an overall nice looking sneaker.
