In 1924, George Mallory set off to climb Mount Everest in a 3-piece tweed suit & a pair of sheepskin boots. Despite never returning from his departure, it is believed that he reached his destination successfully. In 1999, preserved in ice, his body was found. This is a lightweight replica of the Harris Tweed jacket, George Mallory wore on his epic climb.
