The re-engineered version of the New Balance MRL999 is a huge improvement from before. New Balance has managed the unthinkable. They’ve taken a classic running sneaker and made it better looking and lighter, without compromising the beloved silhouette.
Soft suede uppers encompass the majority of the shoe. The tongue features mesh on the mid and along the trim. Perforated panels are thrown on the toe box and upper for improved breathability. All of the stitching has been replaced with debossed lines, making for a sleeker and more futuristic shoe – the same is seen on the midsole. The bottom features a charcoal outsole with a mixture of white in the middle. The traditional MRL999 just got a whole lot better.
