Imagine the Yeezy Boost 350…in a khaki/chalk colorway…but instead of Primeknit uppers, it offered something a little softer, a little richer, and a little more comfortable. Adidas has just released a sneaker that has an uncanny resemblance to the Yeezy Boost 350. It too features those thick cage-print laces and that line coming down the middle of the toe cap. The only difference…the Adidas Zx Flux Adv X sports smooth nubuck uppers and soft suede lining.
The uppers aren’t the only thing that’s smoother. Unlike Yeezy’s rippled tubular midsole, the Zx Flux Adv X features a very smooth one. Extra padding is added where it’s needed the most…at the heel. The outside of the heel, including the pull-tab, comes in rich brown suede – the type of suede that’s commonly seen on heavy duty military boots. Except this is a premium fashion sneaker, and a handsome one at that. Finally, you’ll find solace in knowing that the Zx Flux Adv X uses more leather than most dress shoes in its price range. It retails for $160 USD and it gets released on July 15th. Learn more at Adidas’ website.
