Back in 1985, Michael Jordan played an exhibition match in Italy, courtesy of NIKE. During his match, the legend scored 30 points along with a glass-shattering dunk that lived for ages (below is the video of the dunk).
In commemoration of this majestic event, NIKE has brought back the Air Jordan 1 Retro OG in the exact Stefanel Trieste colorway, this summer. A new colorway of this legendary sneaker is set to be released this October. Entitled the ‘Reverse Shattered Backboard’, the latest Air Jordan 1 ditches the black panel – giving the shoe a cleaner, more Chicago-esque look. The ‘starfish orange’ color provides a modern look – something that the original simply lacked. They’ll retail for $160 USD.
