It was May 7th 1989, game 5 of the Eastern conference first round in the NBA. With 3 seconds left, Michael Jordan would immortalize Craig Ehlo as that guy…that guy that couldn’t stop Michael Jordan from leading his team to victory in the 1989 playoffs. Not to take anything away from Ehlo, Jordan did have some help. He was wearing the Nike Air Jordan IV’s; was it the shoes? Well…Jordan was known for having an incredible work ethic, spending hours in the gym perfecting his jumpshot…but it was probably the shoes.
